Job summary

Odyssey Logistics & Technology Corporation is seeking a Data Engineer in Charlotte, NC to shape enterprise data architecture and analytics solutions. You will design scalable data pipelines and lakehouse models powering reporting, self-service BI, and AI/ML use cases.

You’ll partner with business teams across Sales, Finance, Operations, and Shared Services to deliver measurable ROI and operational improvements while ensuring security and governance in a hybrid on-site/remote environment.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL and query design with performance tuning.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Spark; Java preferred.
• Experience with ML frameworks and lakehouse datasets.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable data lake/lakehouse solutions.
• Develop batch and streaming data pipelines with reliable delivery.
• Collaborate with Analytics Engineers on data transformations and metrics.
• Translate business questions into data-driven solutions for ROI.
• Ensure data governance, security, and observability.
