Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation in Florida is seeking a Data Engineer to design and maintain batch and micro-batch data pipelines, build medallion-layered data models, and integrate ERP data into cloud-native open lakehouse environments (AWS, GCP, Snowflake). Qualifications

3+ years hands-on data engineering experience with SQL and Python.
Experience building production-grade data pipelines (batch and micro-batch).
Knowledge of medallion architecture (bronze/silver/gold) and open lakehouse concepts.

Responsibilities

Build, monitor, and optimize batch and micro-batch data pipelines.
Design ETL/ELT workflows integrating enterprise data sources (ERPs, platforms, external systems).
Apply medallion architecture to ensure data quality and reusability.
Implement data validation, cataloging, metadata, and lineage monitoring per governance standards.
Collaborate with data product leads, architects, and analytics teams in Agile delivery.
Support onboarding and operationalization of pipelines and data assets.
