Job summary

The Hanover Insurance Group is offering a Summer Internship in Massachusetts. This 10-week, full-time program lets students work on meaningful data projects, learn ETL processes, SQL, and data modeling, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. You will also receive mentorship and participate in development workshops and networking activities.

We look for initiative, analytical thinking, and the ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred.
• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or advanced degree program.
• Ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Technical proficiency in ETL, SQL, data management and documentation.
• Motivated, with initiative, creativity and analytical skills.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Understand data sources, models and architecture and access data to produce outputs.
• Focus on practical data collection and analysis applications.
• Execute data profiling, report generation and data modeling design.
• Implement new data pipelines and models as needed for analytics.
• Document development and design of the solutions built.
