Job summary

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of professional experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or a software development engineering role focusing on data.
• Proven track record of independently designing and building highly scalable data models and staging environments inside Snowflake.
• Strong hands-on experience managing dbt projects, testing, documentation, and source-control-driven data pipelines.
• Direct hands-on experience or familiarity with Salesforce Data360 / DataCloud ingestion, mapping, and orchestration patterns.
• Proficient experience utilizing CI/CD automation tools, managing branches, and executing automated data quality gates.
• Strong analytical capability to translate business constraints into concrete data rules and optimized queries.

Responsibilities

• Own data modeling and pipeline engineering for the CDP powering marketing segmentation and journeys.
• Architect and govern data solutions, ADRs, and safe team self-service for decentralized model changes.
• Translate complex business rules into data processes and validate feasibility and scalability before builds.
• Partner across engineering, analytics, product and business teams to align definitions and establish a single source of truth.
• Lead demonstrations and workshops to resolve ambiguity and mentor junior engineers in code/config reviews.
• Design automated data quality checks and leverage AI-augmented workflows to improve pipeline efficiency and readability.
