Job summary

Travelers Data Engineering team builds pipelines that contextualize data for enterprise analytics and AI initiatives. You will design, implement, and deploy data solutions to support AI, ML and BI efforts with strong collaboration across teams.

The ideal candidate brings a STEM degree, 6+ years of experience, hands-on data engineering skills, cloud experience (AWS), and familiarity with tools like GitHub, Jira, and Autosys. Strong communication and problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, STEM field, or equivalent.
• 6+ years of related data engineering experience.
• Experience with modern data platforms and CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

• Build and operationalize complex data solutions across teams.
• Analyze data sources for value and determine data to include in analytics.
• Ensure data governance, security and quality throughout pipelines.
• Collaborate with teams and educate users on data products and analytics.
• Test data movement and transformation code; resolve defects.
