Job summary

SMX is seeking a Data Science Consultant to support our Army Client. You will design data solutions using Databricks (SQL, Python, PySpark) and Palantir Foundry, and build reports from ERP and legacy system data.

You will modify data models, define test cases, and ensure solutions meet business requirements while coordinating with stakeholders to translate needs into technical specs. A Bachelor’s degree in CS/EE and active clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with strong fundamentals in CS/EE.
• Hands-on development experience in data engineering/analytics.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and PySpark.
• Experience with Databricks and Palantir Foundry.

Responsibilities

• Design new data solutions using Databricks and Palantir Foundry to meet business requirements.
• Modify existing data models as needed and optimize schemas.
• Define test cases and verify results to ensure solutions function as designed.
• Build data models and reports from ERP and legacy system data.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specs.
