Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a data engineer to join the Customer Experience Products (CXP) team. You will design data models, build scalable pipelines, and own data quality to empower analytics and BI across customer service metrics.

You will collaborate with SDEs, BIEs, scientists, and PMs to deliver datasets that support dashboards, WBR, and cross-channel metrics, while migrating to Gold Schema standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of data engineering experience.
• 1+ years ETL/ELT for BI analytics.
• 1+ years OLAP technologies for BI analytics.
• 1+ years SQL development/operation.
• 1+ years Oracle experience.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, Eng, IS, Math, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data models for large-scale datasets to drive analytics and BI.
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines with AWS Glue, Spark, Redshift, and EMR.
• Own data quality, SLAs, data certification, and monitoring.
• Lead migration to Gold Schema and consolidate reporting tables.
• Improve self-service data access with lineage and governance.
• Collaborate with SDEs, BIEs, scientists, and PMs to deliver datasets.
• Automate manual processes and improve pipeline observability.
• Mentor peers and participate in hiring and code reviews.
