Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is hiring a data engineer to own and build scalable data pipelines and analytics infrastructure for the CS organization in Seattle. You will design data models, migrate to modern schemas, and enable self-serve analytics for analysts, PMs, and scientists.

You will work with AWS Glue, Redshift, EMR, and Spark to deliver robust data services, improve data quality, and drive enterprise data improvements across the CS measurement and reporting surfaces.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of data engineering experience.
• Experience building and operating large-scale BI data structures using ETL/ELT.
• Experience with OLAP technologies for analytics.
• Experience with SQL and data modeling.
• Experience with Oracle databases.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/IS/Math or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data models for analytics across CXP.
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS tools and Spark.
• Ensure data quality with SLAs and monitoring.
• Lead data migration and modernization to standardized schemas.
• Develop data lineage, governance, and self-serve tooling.
• Collaborate with SDEs, BIEs, scientists, and PMs to deliver datasets.
