Job summary

Qualitate, in New York City, is seeking a Data Engineer to own data pipelines, models, and AI-enabled enrichment. You will collaborate with Applied AI, Market Research, and Engineering to shape scalable data workflows and contribute to an always-on intelligence platform.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL with complex, performant queries and scale reasoning.
• Experience in TypeScript or Python for production-grade code.
• Experience building robust data integrations via APIs, databases and files.
• Research and integrate third-party datasets and entity matching.
• Comfort with structured, semi-structured and unstructured data.
• Experience with modern data stack (Snowflake/BigQuery, dbt, Airflow).
• Able to work in early-stage data infra and drive order from ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data pipelines; design ETL/ELT processes.
• Design data models across relational and non-relational systems.
• Build AI-powered data enrichment pipelines from unstructured data.
• Own data quality end-to-end with automated QA and monitoring.
• Partner cross-functionally with Research, Applied AI and Engineering.
• Document data lineage, schemas, and runbooks for data foundation.
