Job summary

Qualitate in New York City is hiring to build its Energy coverage from the ground up. You’ll report to the Director of Research and partner with sector leads to translate first-hand expert insight into data-driven analysis for investors and corporate teams.

We value analytical ability, writing quality, and speed, with opportunity to deepen knowledge across energy value chain and adjacent domains while scaling an AI-native research platform.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years professional experience in data-driven research creation.
• Exposure to energy, utilities, or industrials is preferred.
• Excellent writing and ability to synthesize data into insights.

Responsibilities

• Leverage proprietary datasets to build analyses across energy, utilities, and oil & gas.
• Turn data collection studies into client-ready outputs with quantified findings.
• Develop forward-looking analyses on energy trends and dynamics.
• Contribute thought leadership content for newsletters and client communications.
• Support and learn to lead client conversations through calls, webinars, and events.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to refine AI-driven research methods.
• Stay ahead of energy industry trends from generation to grid modernization.
