Job summary

Johns Hopkins Medicine is seeking a Program Specialist to coordinate day-to-day operations of workforce development’s youth employment programs across the Johns Hopkins Medicine system and partner organizations. Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent work experience; one year of related education may substitute for one year of work experience.
Minimum of two years’ relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Provides assistance and support to department leadership and support staff.
Assists with strategic projects/programs and events related to the department’s initiatives.
Contributes to department programs and initiatives.
Creates and manages communications related to the department project/program activities.
Effectively communicate with all levels within Johns Hopkins Medicine on project/program activities.
Create and distribute reports and agendas, and maintain a system for project/program milestones/deliverables.
Attend internal/external meetings related to departmental projects/programs.
Perform tasks necessary for maintenance and improvement of project/programs within the department.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
