Job summary

Swisher is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to cover San Diego-area markets, including Oceanside, San Marcos, La Jolla, Carlsbad, and Escondido. You will drive growth through data-driven selling, expand distribution, and build strong customer partnerships while delivering in-store execution and promotions.

The role requires 2+ years of customer-facing sales experience, proficiency in Excel and CRM tools, and a willingness to travel locally.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer-facing sales experience.
• Ability to translate data into actionable insights and business recommendations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and excellent communication skills.
• Experience in CPG, retail, or distributor environments (preferred).
• Proficiency in Excel and digital tools; willingness to travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Drive Growth Through Solution Selling: analyze data, insights, and trends to uncover opportunities.
• Deliver fact-based recommendations to improve category performance and shopper outcomes.
• Lead customer conversations via storytelling as a category advisor, not just a supplier.
• Expand Distribution & Market Presence: increase points of distribution, assortment, and shelf presence.
• Execute new product launches with speed to market aligned with consumer trends.
• Prioritize high-impact opportunities using data and territory insights.
• Build strong customer partnerships with key decision-makers and influencers.
• Drive in-store execution of merchandising, promotions, and pricing; track performance with CRM analytics.
