Job summary

DSV is seeking a Tender Specialist in the United States to manage end-to-end RFP processes, extract data insights, and build pricing models. You will manipulate large data sets, create cross-functional bid proposals, and ensure accuracy across submissions.

Proficiency in Excel and Power BI is required, along with excellent communication and time-management skills to operate in a small team and handle multiple projects concurrently.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, data science, logistics or related field.
• 3–5 years of tender management, marketing or pricing experience.
• Strong understanding of logistics and transportation industry dynamics.
• Excellent analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
• Proficient in market research and competitive analysis.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Negotiation experience in contracts.
• Advanced Excel and data analysis proficiency.
• Fluent in English (oral and written).

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end processing of tenders and RFPs.
• Deconstruct complex customer requirements for global clarity.
• Build internal data templates to standardize bids.
• Ensure accuracy, formatting, and completeness of submissions.
• Develop multimode transport expertise to guide bids.
• Create shipment simulations, cost models, and variance charts in Excel.
• Track historical data, market trends, and competitor actions.
• Use VLOOKUPs, nested formulas, and data manipulation for inputs.
• Provide data-backed recommendations to pricing frameworks.
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards to track metrics and pricing trends.
• Present insights on tender performance and win/loss analyses.
