Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end processing of corporate tenders and RFPs.
• Deconstruct complex customer requirements for global clarity and alignment.
• Build internal data templates to standardize competitive bid proposals.
• Ensure mathematical accuracy, formatting integrity, and completeness across submissions.
• Develop multimode transport expertise to steer decision-making during bids.
• Build shipment simulations, cost models, and variance charts in Excel.
• Track historical data, market trends, and competitor actions to adapt models.
• Use VLOOKUPs, nested formulas, and data manipulation techniques for input sheets.
• Formulate data-backed recommendations for pricing adjustments.
• Build and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards to track metrics and pricing trends.
• Leverage Power BI data models to present tender performance insights.

Summary

The Tender Specialist is a strategic, highly analytical role focused on managing the end‑to‑end Request for Proposal (RFP) process. The position extracts data insights, builds pricing models, and optimizes tender responses to ensure market competitiveness. The ideal candidate is an expert in manipulating large datasets to drive cross‑functional pricing strategies, with advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Excellent communication and time‑management abilities, efficient teamwork, and the capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously are essential.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end processing of corporate tenders and RFPs.
• Deconstruct complex customer requirements for global clarity and alignment.
• Build internal data templates to standardize competitive, cross‑functional bid proposals.
• Guarantee mathematical accuracy, formatting integrity, and completeness across submissions.
• Develop multimode transport expertise to steer decision‑making during bids.
• Build shipment simulations, cost models, and variance charts in Excel.

Educational background / Work experience

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, data science, logistics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in tender management, marketing, or pricing.

• Strong understanding of logistics and transportation industry dynamics.
• Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Proficient in market research and competitive analysis.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Negotiation skills and experience in contract negotiations.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.

Language skills

• Fluent in English (oral and written).

Computer Literacy

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with tender management software and data analysis tools.
• Advanced execution of Excel formulas, VLOOKUPs/XLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and data cleaning.
• Competence in building interactive dashboards using Power BI.
• Experience querying internal databases and managing data entry integrity.

Actual base compensation will be determined based on various factors including job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, geographic location, and other objective business considerations.
