Job summary

Amazon in Bethlehem, PA seeks a Workplace Health & Safety Specialist to elevate safety culture and protect associates. You will lead safety programs, audits, investigations, and risk assessments to prevent injuries while maintaining productivity.

You will build partnerships with frontline teams and leadership, translating data into actionable insights and supporting emergency response in a dynamic delivery environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year in an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) related field OR Bachelor’s degree in EHS-related background OR 6 months safety-related experience at Amazon.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations specifically 29 CFR 1910.
• Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel in a professional capacity.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety programs with data-driven strategies and conduct daily safety audits.
• Perform incident investigations and risk assessments to prevent injuries.
• Deliver engaging safety training and promote a proactive safety culture.
• Translate safety data into compelling narratives to influence safety initiatives.
