Job summary

Ross Stores is seeking an Analyst, Process Improvement to design, enhance, and support data-driven tools that improve allocation efficiency. You will work with Excel (VBA), Access, and SQL Server to deliver reliable reporting and automation, while reducing technical debt and maintaining production systems.

The role requires 1–2 years in reporting or data projects, strong analytical and communication skills, and a willingness to learn new technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience developing or supporting critical reports.
• Proficiency in VBA for Excel automation; Python a plus.
• Proficiency with Access macros/queries and data-driven apps.
• Strong SQL Server knowledge: joins, aggregates, subqueries.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain moderately complex tools and reports.
• Use Excel VBA, Access, and SQL Server for data solutions.
• Troubleshoot defects, data issues, and performance in production.
• Refactor legacy solutions for stability and future upgrades.
• Document technical designs and support knowledge transfer.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver reliable data solutions.
