Job summary

Ross Stores in New York is seeking a Lead Analyst for Business Information to bridge gaps between senior business analysts, managers, and the IT team. This role focuses on gathering requirements, coordinating cross-functional delivery, and driving data reporting solutions across the organization.

You will lead requirements gathering, facilitate sessions, negotiate solutions, and ensure successful delivery within time and budget.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Business, Economics or Computer Science (or equivalent).
5–8 years of experience in Retail and/or IT.
Strong requirements gathering and documentation skills.
Excellent communication skills at all organizational levels.
Experience with BI tools (MicroStrategy, Microsoft SSAS).
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

Elicit and document comprehensive business requirements for reporting and data analytics.
Serve as liaison between technical and business teams to understand and advise on needs.
Manage meetings, issues, escalation for moderately complex projects.
Lead creation and review of test deliverables including test plans and scripts.
Facilitate user acceptance testing and obtain sign-off from business.
Assess and prioritize training deliverables and create training materials.
Drive release and deployment plans with stakeholders.
Support IT capabilities and new system implementations.
