Job summary

Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America is seeking a Process Engineer I to support improvements in defect reduction and mass production at the De Soto, Kansas site. You will help develop and implement process strategies, manage resources, and optimize processes on the line.

Responsibilities include data-driven analysis, troubleshooting, and collaboration with maintenance, quality, and manufacturing teams to drive standard work and countermeasures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical, Materials, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 0–2 years of process/manufacturing engineering experience.
• Strong root-cause analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Able to train operators on new processes.
• Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Support process improvement projects to reduce defects and improve efficiency.
• Develop and implement process strategies and optimize current processes.
• Coordinate process and machine improvement activities with cross-functional teams.
• Build standard work instructions and troubleshooting guides.
• Support manufacturing automation initiatives.
