Panasonic Energy is hiring an entry-level Manufacturing Engineer I in De Soto, Kansas. The role focuses on foundational manufacturing engineering through hands-on work, mentorship, and a high-volume production environment.

You will assist in production optimization, process reliability, and quality improvement initiatives. The position emphasizes learning standard manufacturing processes, SOPs, and problem-solving methods, with exposure to automation and manufacturing technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related STEM field required.
• Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt preferred; Green Belt a plus.
• Strong data-driven problem solving and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Supports production optimization and process reliability in a high-volume setting.
• Assists with data collection, time studies, and process checks.
• Contributes to SOPs and work instructions and supports maintenance teams.
• Participates in RCA and CAPA activities and supports safety initiatives.
• Collaborates with production, quality, maintenance, and engineering teams.
