Job summary

Panasonic Energy is expanding its De Soto, Kansas operations and seeks a Quality Supervisor to lead daily quality activities and a team of technicians and inspectors. You will drive CAPA actions, maintain QMS, and collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, and Maintenance to ensure product quality and regulatory compliance.

The role requires 3+ years of leadership in quality within manufacturing, strong knowledge of ISO 9001/IATF16949, and excellent communication in English.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive leadership experience in quality assurance or quality control.
• Strong working knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and regulatory standards.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Experience with manufacturing processes and operations.
• Must have working-level English proficiency.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality assurance, or manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily quality operations and in-process inspections to ensure conformance.
• Supervise quality technicians, inspectors, and team leads to ensure effective QC execution.
• Monitor and enforce quality control procedures across production lines.
• Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) and CAPA processes.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Maintenance to resolve issues.
• Support internal and external audits and regulatory inspections.
