Job summary

Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America seeks a Process Engineer I to support process improvement in battery manufacturing. You will join the Cell and Process Engineering team and contribute to defect reduction, model introductions, specification validation, and overall equipment efficiency.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, data-driven analysis, developing standard work, and implementing countermeasures across production lines.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of process engineering or manufacturing engineering experience.
• Demonstration of exceptional ability and full-cycle engineering mindset.
• Ability to train manufacturing operators on new or revised process instructions or tooling.
• Strong problem solving and data analysis skills in a manufacturing setting.
• English language proficiency (reading, writing, speaking).

Responsibilities

• Support process improvement projects focused on defect reduction and efficiency.
• Develop and implement process strategies and SOPs; monitor equipment performance.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement countermeasures with root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams for long-term process development and immediate fixes.
• Create standard work instructions and troubleshooting guides for manufacturing.
