The role emphasizes translating research into compelling content, monitoring PR metrics, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging across campaigns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications, journalism, writing, English or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication with ability to craft compelling narratives.
• Experience translating data and research into stories, reports or long-form content.
• Demonstrated experience developing and executing public relations campaigns.
• Proficiency with media databases, monitoring tools, and PR analytics platforms.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and parse internal and external data sets to identify story opportunities.
• Research data, studies and statistics to strengthen story angles.
• Draft and edit reports, press releases and data-driven pitches with editorial judgment.
• Mine data and market trends for original story ideas and pitchable narratives.
• Develop and implement PR programs to build brand awareness and earned media.
• Identify story opportunities aligned with Rocket's narrative and objectives.
• Initiate and maintain media relationships with journalists and influencers.
• Monitor media coverage and analyze PR metrics to inform strategy.
• Coordinate messaging across internal teams for consistency.
