Job summary

The Brand Guild in Washington, DC is seeking a Public Relations Associate for its Real Estate team. This hybrid role (3 days in office) places you at our Georgetown headquarters where you will craft compelling press materials and support media campaigns for iconic neighborhoods and developers.

You will manage clips, write releases, help develop pitches, and build relationships with media across local to national tiers while staying on top of industry trends and opportunities to showcase thought

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of public relations agency experience (experience with commercial real estate, development, architecture, design, hospitality or related clients is a plus).
• A genuine enthusiasm for PR, media and storytelling and a desire to grow your career in an agency environment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and clients independently and alongside a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage client clips and reporting.
• Write press releases, media briefings and prepare information for the media.
• Assist with the development of compelling pitches and identify media opportunities.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with local, regional, national and trade media.
• Monitor editorial calendars and proactively pitch story ideas and expert sources to media.
• Perform in-depth research to support communications, messaging and media strategy.
• Stay on top of news and trends relevant to clients and bring ideas to the team.
• Identify thought leadership opportunities for executives and industry experts.
• Attend and provide support at press events, openings and other client moments.
• Provide administrative support for the press team on projects including media lists, agendas, notes and reporting.
• Analyze, measure and report on communications and media projects.
