Job summary

SMX Services & Consulting, Inc. seeks a skilled Business Systems Analyst to design, implement, and optimize data warehouse solutions and Power BI reports across ERP, E-commerce, and ECM platforms running on IBM iSeries and Windows servers in Puerto Rico.

You will gather requirements, model data, and ensure data quality while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Strong SQL, ETL, and IBM iSeries familiarity are highly valued. This is an on-site role with standard business hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role with strong focus on data analysis, reporting, and data warehouse environments.
• Hands-on Power BI experience (DAX, data modeling, report design).
• Strong SQL and experience with relational databases (SQL Server, DB2, Oracle).
• Experience with ERP, E-commerce, and ECM systems; IBM iSeries and Windows Server familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data warehouse solutions using Power BI for reporting.
• Analyze business processes and document workflows for improvements.
• Gather and prioritize business and data requirements for system enhancements and data initiatives.
• Collaborate with ERP, E-commerce, and ECM teams for integration and testing of data flows.
• Create user documentation and train users on dashboards and reports.
• Support cross-functional IT and data projects with timely delivery.
