Job summary

Amazon is hiring an Operations Manager to lead a mixed team of salaried and hourly staff in our MD region. You will develop your team, drive safety, quality and productivity, and use data-driven decisions to improve efficiency and customer deliveries.

You will coordinate with cross-functional partners to meet business objectives, manage site workflows, and support continuous improvement across the three stages of our operation: first mile, middle mile, and last mile.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon experience.
• Flexibility to work weekends, nights, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead salaried and hourly teams and mentor staff.
• Drive productivity plans and load balancing across shifts.
• Ensure safety, quality, productivity and on-time delivery.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention and HR teams.
