Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid Indiana State Teaching License or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in education.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with data disaggregation and instructional planning.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct instruction in whole-class, small-group, and individual settings.
• Maintains the highest quality of instruction and expectations for students.
• Utilizes data-driven instruction and PSOE educational frameworks to ensure delivery of standards-driven instruction to all students.
• Completes assessments, grading, planning, and conferences with students, staff, and families within appropriate timelines.
• Coordinates with team lead, Elite Teachers, Special Education Director, school counselor, and other staff for support strategies for students with exceptional needs.
• Ensures proper implementation of IEPs and 504 plans in classroom.
• Produces required reporting to Special Education Director or counselor.
• Maintains regular family communication and community partnerships.
