Job summary

Paramount Schools of Excellence is seeking an English Language Arts Teacher to deliver high-quality instruction and develop a language-focused program for students. You will plan lessons, dis aggregate data, and manage classroom routines to support student growth.

The role emphasizes FERPA/FAPE compliance, collaboration with teams, and ongoing communication with families to ensure student progress and well-being.

Qualifications

• The Classroom Teacher will be thoroughly committed to the PSOE mission and prior full-time education experience is preferred.
• Valid Indiana State Teaching License or equivalent is required or expected.
• Strong organizational, data disaggregation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct instruction in whole-class, small group, and individual settings.
• Uses data-driven instruction and PSOE frameworks to deliver standards-driven instruction.
• Completes assessments, grading, planning, and conferences with students, staff, and families.
• Ensures compliance with IEPs, 504 plans, FERPA and FAPE requirements.
• Maintains regular family communication and documents progress.
