Job summary

McKinsey & Company in the United States is seeking a data engineer to support the SHaPE Software Delivery team on client engagements. You will ingest, model, and secure client data, building pipelines and analytics-ready data assets.

You will collaborate across geographies with client service, delivery, analytics, and product teams to enable impactful insights. You will thrive in a fast-paced, learning-oriented environment, travel up to 75% as needed, and contribute to automating data workflows

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, CS, or Business; Master’s a plus.
1+ years of professional experience across teams with strong problem-solving and communication.
Experience with data engineering, analytics, or data intelligence.
Proficiency with SQL and data tools; familiarity with Python is a plus.

Responsibilities

Ingest, transfer, and curate client data while ensuring quality, security, and reliability.
Build and maintain data pipelines and structured data models for advanced analytics use cases.
Collaborate with client stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable analytics solutions.
Contribute to asset development and drive automation and process improvements.
