Job summary

McKinsey & Company in the United States is seeking a data engineering professional to support SHaPE analytics on a secure data platform. You will ingest, transform, and model data to enable scalable analytics across client engagements, collaborating with stakeholders and delivery teams.

Working in a cross-functional, agile environment, you will build data pipelines, ensure data quality, and contribute to reusable assets while emphasizing security and reliability in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus
• 1+ years of professional experience across teams with problem-solving and communication
• Working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, data/BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Imply) and SQL with Databricks; Python a plus
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and manage workload
• Comfortable in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and evolving priorities
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate and lead in teams
• Intellectually curious with proactive learning and continuous improvement
• Experience in data engineering, data intelligence, or analytics with data modeling understanding
• Willing to travel up to 75% as needed; mix of remote/on-site work
• Excellent written and verbal communication across global teams

• Build and maintain data pipelines and structured data models for advanced analytics
