Job summary

Hyundai Capital America (HCA) is seeking a Collections Strategy Manager to lead data-driven initiatives across collections operations. You will partner with IT, Compliance, and vendors to optimize processes, test strategies, and translate insights into actionable improvements.

The role demands 5–7 years in related finance operations, strong SQL/BI skills, and proven ability to communicate complex analyses to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of progressive experience in collections, risk, finance operations, or related function.
• Experience supporting strategy, analysis, process improvement, or operational performance initiatives.
• Automotive finance, captive finance, or financial services industry experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with SQL/BI tools or programming.
• Ability to research complex business problems, analyze data, evaluate alternatives, and develop fact-based recommendations.
• Ability to communicate analytical findings clearly to partners and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently in a self-directed environment while managing priorities.
• Knowledge of collections operations, financial services processes, strategy testing, and performance measurement.

Responsibilities

• Lead defined Collections strategy workstreams and support department initiatives from planning through implementation.
• Coordinate with IT, Compliance, and vendors to ensure effective execution and alignment.
• Analyze Collections processes to identify opportunities and develop data-driven recommendations.
• Support testing through A/B design, implementation, and measurement of outcomes.
• Coach teams and partners to identify gaps and co-create solutions for performance improvement.
