Job summary

Hyundai Capital America in Plano, TX is seeking a Collections Strategy Manager to lead data-driven initiatives across collections. The role focuses on improving processes, testing strategies, and driving cross-functional collaboration with IT, Compliance, and vendors to deliver measurable improvements.

You will guide workstreams from planning to post-implementation reviews, analyze performance, and translate insights into actionable recommendations for leadership and teams.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of progressive experience in collections, risk, financial services operations, or related business operations.
• Experience supporting strategy, analysis, process improvement, or operational performance initiatives.
• Automotive finance, captive finance, or financial services industry experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with SQL/Business Intelligence (BI) tools or programming.
• Ability to research complex business problems, analyze data, evaluate alternatives, and develop fact-based recommendations.
• Ability to communicate analytical findings and recommendations clearly to business partners and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently in a self-directed environment while managing priorities and deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Lead defined Collections strategy workstreams and coordinate projects from planning through implementation.
• Partner with IT, Compliance, and vendors to support execution and alignment.
• Analyze processes, identify opportunities, and develop data-driven recommendations.
• Support testing by designing and implementing A/B tests to inform decisions.
• Coach teams to identify performance gaps and co-create solutions.
