Job summary

Ryan Specialty is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to bridge IT and business using data analytics. You will assess processes, determine requirements, and deliver data-driven recommendations and reports to executives and stakeholders.

You will document objectives, analyze systems, elicit needs, collaborate on scope, conduct data analysis, and develop test plans, while training users and writing manuals to support implementation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Business Administration with at least 6 months related experience.
• Preferred certifications: CBAP, CCBA or AAC.

Responsibilities

• Understand and document project objectives and identify system needs.
• Analyze business processes to identify improvement or automation opportunities.
• Elicit, analyze, specify, and validate business needs of stakeholders.
• Collaborate with project managers to determine scope and vision.
• Conduct data analysis to support decisions and process improvements.
• Develop and execute test plans to verify requirements are met.
• Provide training and user support; write user manuals as needed.
• Document requirements, define scope, and align systems with business strategy.
