Job summary

Ryan Specialty is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to collaborate with stakeholders to gather detailed requirements and document system design specifications for new systems or enhancements. The role conducts system audits and uses advanced analytics to identify opportunities for scalability and efficiency within the IT infrastructure.

They evaluate emerging technologies, provide adoption recommendations, and lead disaster recovery planning and backup strategies for critical systems and data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Business Administration with 2+ years of related experience.
• Experience documenting business requirements and system designs.
• Familiarity with SDLC and testing processes.

Responsibilities

• Understand and document business objectives and system needs.
• Analyze processes to identify improvement or automation opportunities.
• Elicit, analyze, specify, and validate business needs of stakeholders.
• Collaborate with PMs to determine project scope and vision.
• Develop data analyses to support decisions and process improvements.
• Create and execute test plans to verify requirements.
• Provide user training and write user manuals as needed.
• Document requirements and define scope to align with business strategy.
