Job summary

Vizient is seeking an Executive AVP to lead enterprise execution within Data & Digital. You will drive governance, alignment, and delivery across top-priority initiatives, acting as a trusted advisor to the Chief of Staff and senior leadership.

With 10–15+ years in program management or transformation, you will set structure, ownership, milestones, and measures. Expect matrixed environments, accountability, and a strong bias toward delivering durable business impact.

Qualifications

• 10 to 15+ years in program management or enterprise execution roles.
• Proven track record driving large, ambiguous initiatives to completion.
• Strong executive presence and comfort with senior leaders.
• Independent with a bias toward action.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Experience operating in matrixed or complex organizations.
• Background supporting large enterprise transformations.
• Ability to navigate informal influence networks.
• Skill in challenging leaders constructively.

Responsibilities

• Own the integrated D&D initiative portfolio with enterprise-wide priorities.
• Establish governance frameworks aligning strategy with execution.
• Ensure portfolio decisions reflect priorities, capacity, and impact.
• Translate executive direction into structured, outcome-driven plans.
• Lead end-to-end delivery of critical, cross-functional initiatives.
• Clarify decision rights and accountability across units.
• Provide leadership with concise initiative health and risk views.
• Surface execution gaps and blockers before impact.
• Inform tradeoffs with data-driven analysis and scenario planning.
• Institutionalize execution rhythm and portfolio review processes.
• Ensure initiatives are measured by outcomes, not activity.
• Champion accountability, discipline, and operational excellence.
