Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC seeks a Data & Control Systems Technician (Starship Launch Hardware) to install and maintain instrumentation wiring, connectors, and PLC-based manufacturing hardware. The role collaborates with design engineers to fix issues from test data and develops work planning documents.

Requires 5+ years in industrial controls, familiarity with aerospace standards, and the ability to work early shifts and some overtime for launch milestones.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with industrial controls or instrumentation in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of ISO 9000, IPC-620, ICP-610 standards and quality harnessing.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and fabricate simple circuits.
• Proficient with power and hand tools; able to lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Install and terminate wiring to pad instrumentation and data acquisition systems.
• Install connectors, pins, terminals and lugs; perform continuity checks.
• Troubleshoot failures using measuring instruments and test data.
• Lead complex projects with minimal oversight and document procedures.
• Build and terminate AC power equipment up to 480VAC; service PLC hardware.
