Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Controls Technician for the Starship Launch Pad to read schematics, install and troubleshoot electrical ground support equipment, and fabricate parts using hand tools.

Responsibilities include wiring, sensor connections, collaboration with launch engineers, and maintaining readiness of launch-site systems; candidates should have a HS diploma and 1+ years of experience in electrical control systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency
• 1+ years of experience designing, installing, or troubleshooting electrical control systems
• Associate degree in instrumentation or related field (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret planning documents, schematics, datasheets and drawings
• Adjust, repair or replace faulty components of ground hardware and test equipment
• Fabricate and install parts in launch environments using hand tools and test instruments
• Connect and verify sensors and transducers
• Install connectors and wiring for ground support equipment
• Collaborate with launch engineers to troubleshoot issues
• Layout and test wiring of electronics racks and junction boxes
• Perform maintenance for vehicle integration and site readiness
