Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Controls Technician for the Starship Launch Pad. The role involves reading plans, wiring, wiring harnessing, and maintaining ground support equipment to enable safe launch operations.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year experience with electrical control systems, plus familiarity with PLC/HMI and instrumentation such as thermocouples and RTDs. Shift includes first shift with extended hours as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• 1+ years of experience designing, installing, or troubleshooting electrical control systems.
• Associate degree in instrumentation or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret planning documents, schematics, datasheets, drawings and blueprints.
• Adjust, repair or replace faulty components of ground hardware and test equipment.
• Fabricate and install parts using hand tools and power tools in launch environments.
• Connect and verify sensors like pressure transducers and thermocouples.
• Lay out and wire electronics racks and junction boxes; perform maintenance and troubleshooting.
