Job Description

• Maintains a positive and helpful manner when checking in carriers and interacting with other warehouse personnel.
• Complies with and communicates any special requests as soon as the needs can be met, and relays information to the On‑site Management Team immediately.
• Handles difficult situations with patience and tact, conferring with our customer and the On‑site Management Team.
• Thoroughly advises the On‑site Management Team of driver statuses and overall volume throughout the shift.
• Executes core responsibilities consistently: basic reading/writing comprehension, driver check‑in, PO validation, BOL validation, data entry tasks, status updates, and assigning trucks to dock doors.
• Records amounts of materials or items received via appropriate computer programs.
• Assists site Supervisor with general office administration.

Pay Range

$18.00 – $20.00 per hour.

Job Requirements

• 6 months warehouse experience preferred; willing to train.
• Work in a physically demanding warehouse environment – continuously lifting and moving up to 50 lbs.
• Warehouse material handling equipment certification preferred (e.g., electric pallet jack).
• Meet fast‑paced productivity goals and standards.
• Excellent customer service required.
• Ability to work in various climate conditions (potentially including cooler/freezers).
• Reliable transportation with the ability to arrive on time.
• Standing/climbing 8 to 10 hours per day.
• Effective communication skills.
• Safety shoes are required.
• Ability to pass a pre‑employment drug screen and background check.
• Other duties as assigned.
