Job summary

Daksta is seeking a Project Engineer focused on Data Centre projects to drive planning, design, and construction management. You will coordinate with architects, contractors, and stakeholders to meet objectives on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Proven experience in project management, particularly in data centre construction or similar infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the planning, design, and execution of data centre construction projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, contractors, and stakeholders, to ensure project objectives are met.
• Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to address potential project challenges.
• Prepare and present project reports, including status updates, cost analysis, and performance metrics.
• Coordinate procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery to meet project schedules.
• Provide technical support and guidance to project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
