Job summary

Daksta is seeking a seasoned Commissioning Manager to lead the commissioning of state-of-the-art data centre facilities. You will oversee testing, verification, and operation of critical systems, coordinating with design teams, contractors, and operations staff.

The role requires strong leadership, deep knowledge of MEP systems, and experience with industry standards such as ASHRAE, Uptime Institute, and TIA-942. You will drive planning, reporting, and continuous improvement across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Advanced degrees or certifications in commissioning or project management are a plus.
• Proven experience as a Commissioning Manager in data centre or mission-critical infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems and data centre infrastructure components.
• Familiarity with ASHRAE, Uptime Institute, and TIA-942 standards.
• Excellent project management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the commissioning process for data centre projects, ensuring all systems are tested, verified, and operational according to project specifications.
• Develop commissioning plans, schedules, and procedures aligned with project timelines and objectives.
• Coordinate with design teams, contractors, and operations personnel to ensure seamless integration of systems.
• Conduct detailed reviews of design documents, equipment specifications, and installation plans to identify and address potential issues.
• Oversee the execution of functional performance tests, system integration tests, and reliability tests.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality assurance protocols throughout the commissioning process.
• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, resolving any challenges that arise during commissioning activities.
• Prepare comprehensive commissioning reports, documenting test results, deficiencies, and recommendations for improvement.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance commissioning processes and project outcomes.
