Job summary

Daksta is seeking a highly skilled MEP Superintendent to lead the installation and commissioning of MEP systems for data centre projects. The role focuses on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing disciplines within mission-critical facilities.

You will coordinate with project managers, engineers and contractors, manage schedules, ensure safety and codes compliance, review drawings, and deliver quality handovers to clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in MEP supervision, with a focus on data centre or mission-critical facilities.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical distribution, fire protection, and plumbing.
• Familiarity with industry standards, codes, and regulations related to data centre construction.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Certification in project management or MEP systems (e.g., PMP, LEED, or similar) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all aspects of MEP systems installation and commissioning for data centre projects.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of MEP-related tasks.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with safety standards, building codes, and project specifications.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to design plans.
• Identify and resolve any technical or logistical challenges that may arise during the construction process.
• Prepare and present progress reports to senior management and clients.
• Manage subcontractors and vendors, ensuring their work aligns with project requirements and timelines.
• Collaborate with the design team to review and approve MEP drawings and specifications.
• Ensure proper documentation of all MEP activities, including as-built drawings and operation manuals.
