Job summary

CDC Data Centres is seeking an Associate Facilities Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a world-class data centre campus, ensuring safe, secure and efficient delivery of services. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you will lead a team of Facilities Coordinators and work with site-based contractors to drive operational performance and customer outcomes.

This highly visible role balances people leadership with stakeholder engagement and operational delivery, maintaining momentum

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading and developing frontline teams.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
• Australian Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain NV1 security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Facilities Coordinators and site-based operational staff.
• Drive day-to-day campus operations to ensure service excellence and operational readiness.
• Manage customer requests and ensure issues are resolved effectively.
• Build strong relationships with customers, contractors, service providers and internal stakeholders.
• Oversee vendor performance and ensure contractual obligations are met.
• Coordinate maintenance activities and ensure preventative maintenance requirements are met.
• Monitor operational risks and escalate issues impacting uptime.
• Support procurement activities, budgeting and cost-control initiatives.
• Drive workplace health, safety, compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare operational updates, reporting and site improvement projects.
