MiCiM International is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to guide the commercial and financial performance of a significant Data Centre project in Norway. This pivotal role involves acting as a commercial interface, implementing project strategies and overseeing contract management.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in commercial management within data centre construction or large-scale technical projects.
• Strong knowledge of cost planning, procurement, and contract administration.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to lead, mentor, and foster collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Act as commercial interface between clients, project teams, and subcontractors.
• Implement project-specific commercial strategies for a complex data centre build.
• Maintain full visibility of financial position, change control, and risk exposure.
• Own cost planning: prepare budgets, forecasts, and advise on design changes.
• Oversee procurement: define strategy, manage tendering, and approve contracts.
• Manage contracts: control changes, produce cost reports, and support dispute resolution.
• Mentor junior commercial staff and promote commercial awareness across teams.
