Job summary

Vertiv in the United States seeks a Technical Instructor, Whitespace Infrastructure to deliver training for field technicians, installers, customers, and service partners on whitespace infrastructure solutions.

You will develop course materials, labs, and training programs; lead hands-on and virtual sessions, align content with product releases and emerging data center technologies; support safety and operational readiness.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree or equivalent with hands-on data center experience.
• 5+ years in installation, commissioning, field service, deployment, or tech support in data centers.
• Strong understanding of modern data center infrastructure and white space technologies.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and installation manuals.

Responsibilities

• Instruct field service safety and technical classes on whitespace infrastructure technologies.
• Deliver instructor-led and virtual technical training on rack solutions, DC power, and related systems.
• Prepare classrooms, demonstration environments, and training labs.
• Deliver training to technicians, customers, partners, and internal associates.
• Adapt course materials for virtual and hybrid learning environments.
• Create realistic field-based training scenarios for installation and troubleshooting.
• Modify instructional delivery to accommodate varying experience levels and learning styles.
• Model and enforce Vertiv safety guidelines.
• Develop and maintain instructor guides, student workbooks, and presentations.
• Assist in product development readiness for new launches through training.
• Perform training needs analyses and identify skill gaps.
• Support training labs and demonstration equipment; travel up to 10%.
