Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Technical Instructor for Whitespace Infrastructure to deliver hands-on and classroom training to field technicians, installers, customers, and service partners. The role covers integrated rack systems, rack power distribution, DC power, and infrastructure monitoring within modern data center white space environments.

The instructor will develop course materials, labs, and training programs, ensuring alignment with product releases and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Requires two-year technical degree or equivalent.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in installation, commissioning, field service, deployment, or technical support in data center environments.
• Experience delivering technical training or knowledge transfer is preferred.
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Instruct field service safety and technical classes on whitespace infrastructure technologies.
• Deliver instructor-led and virtual training on rack solutions, power systems, monitoring and management platforms.
• Develop and maintain instructor guides, labs, and student materials to support curricula.
• Adapt training to hybrid and virtual learning environments and assess learning outcomes.
• Collaborate with product teams to align training with new product releases and customer needs.
