Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Technical Instructor for Whitespace Infrastructure to deliver hands-on and classroom training on data center whitespace solutions. The role covers installation, commissioning, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and best practices, preparing technicians for mission-critical environments.

You will develop and maintain course materials, labs, and training programs while collaborating with Field Operations, Engineering, Product Management, and Learning & Development teams

Qualifications

• Two-year electrical, electronic, computer systems, information technology, or related technical degree, or equivalent combination of education and field experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in installation, commissioning, field service, deployment, or technical support within data center, telecommunications, information technology, or mission-critical environments.
• Strong understanding of modern data center infrastructure and white space technologies.
• Experience delivering technical training, mentoring, coaching, or knowledge transfer activities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Instruct field service safety and technical classes on whitespace infrastructure technologies.
• Deliver instructor-led and virtual technical training on integrated rack solutions, intelligent rack systems, rack power distribution units, direct current power systems, cabinet and containment solutions, infrastructure monitoring and management systems.
• Prepare classrooms, demonstration environments, and training labs.
• Deliver classroom and virtual training to technicians, customers, partners, and internal associates with varying levels of experience.
• Adapt course materials to support virtual and hybrid learning environments.
