Job summary

Vertiv seeks a Technical Instructor, Whitespace Infrastructure to deliver hands-on and classroom training for field technicians, installers, customers, and service partners on whitespace infrastructure solutions. This includes integrated rack systems, server rack deployment, rack power distribution, DC power, and monitoring technologies.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree in electrical, electronic, computer systems, IT, or related field.
• 5+ years hands-on experience in data center environments (installation, commissioning, field service, deployment, or support).
• Strong understanding of data center infrastructure and white space technologies.

Responsibilities

• Instruct safety and technical classes on whitespace infrastructure.
• Deliver instructor-led and virtual training on rack solutions and DC power.
• Prepare classrooms, demo environments, and labs.
• Deliver training to technicians, customers, partners, and staff.
• Adapt materials for virtual and hybrid learning.
• Create realistic field-based training scenarios for deployment and readiness.
• Modify delivery to different experience levels.
• Enforce Vertiv safety guidelines at all times.
• Support course development with SME input and content review.
• Develop instructor guides, student workbooks, and labs.
• Create hands-on exercises simulating real-world data center work.
• Assist in product launches with training readiness.
• Perform training needs analyses and identify gaps.
• Maintain training labs and equipment.
