Job summary

Oracle is seeking a Data Center Infrastructure Designer to plan, design, and optimize data center white space. You will work with colocation providers, developers, and internal teams to translate requirements into robust, executable designs covering rack layouts, cabling, power, and build phases.

You will collaborate with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and facilities teams to ensure robust integration and alignment with project timelines, budgets, and standards across multiple data centers.

Qualifications

• Experience in data center design and space planning.
• Knowledge of cabling standards and power distribution.
• Ability to collaborate across mechanical, electrical, and facilities teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist planning, design and optimization of data center white space (rack layouts, hot/cold containment, cabling, power).
• Maintain detailed white space docs (room layouts, rack elevations, BOM, structured cabling designs).
• Support development of design standards and Basis of Design documents for consistent fit-outs.
• Develop low voltage cabling systems to support scalable compute, storage and network.
• Review site layouts and proposed designs for standards compliance and improvements.
