Job summary

Giga is seeking a Data Center White Space Designer to lead planning, design, and optimization of data center white space for AI infrastructure projects. You will own rack layouts, containment strategies, power distribution, and infrastructure standards to enable hyperscale deployments.

In this role you will travel to sites for validation, mentoring junior engineers, and help shape design standards. Regular collaboration with mechanical, electrical, and operations teams is expected to ensure

Qualifications

• Own rack layouts and containment strategies for AI infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate with customers and partners to translate deployment requirements into designs.
• Maintain Basis of Design (BoD) documents and templates for rack platforms.
• Travel to data centers for validation, commissioning, and on-site analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, and optimization of data center white space for AI infrastructure.
• Own rack layout strategy and alignment with modular products (GIGA BASE).
• Translate requirements into robust, executable designs across internal teams and partners.
• Travel for site validation, commissioning, and support; mentor junior engineers.
