Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a Warehouse Coordinator in Abilene, TX to oversee warehouse operations supporting large-scale data center construction projects. You will coordinate materials flow, receive, inspect, store, issue, and transfer project materials while ensuring inventory accuracy and timely delivery.

The role works with procurement, logistics, and project teams to drive process improvements, develop reporting, and maintain audit-ready records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, inventory control, or material management.
• Experience supporting large-scale construction or industrial projects preferred.
• Proficiency with ERP and warehouse management software.
• Advanced Excel and reporting skills.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily warehouse operations supporting project material management activities.
• Oversee receipt, inspection, storage, issuance, transfer, and return of project materials.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through system management, cycle counts, and reconciliation.
• Analyze inventory trends and material movement data to improve efficiency.
• Partner with procurement, logistics, project teams to support material planning.
• Develop and maintain warehouse reporting, inventory metrics, and dashboards.
• Monitor inbound/outbound shipments and resolve transportation issues.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure warehouse records and material tracking systems are audit-ready.
• Support implementation of warehouse procedures and controls.
• Assist with material forecasting, storage planning, and optimization.
• Provide guidance to warehouse staff.
• Promote safety and compliance with warehouse procedures.
• Participate in cross-functional planning meetings.
